Stellate icosahedron

     Almost 2,500 years ago, ancient Greek philosopher, Plato, concluded in his study of universal harmony (or Timaeus Timaeus) that the universe is finite and assumed that would form the dodecahedron. He attributed the 5 essentials of life many a regular geometric body, all 5 being perfect recordable in a sphere. Bodies are icosahedron - water, octahedron - air, dodecahedron - Universe Tetraedul - fire and hexagon - Earth.

     Icosahedron is a decorative object with a symbolic vitality, regeneration and resurrection. It has 12 vertices, edges 30 and 20 equilateral triangles are congruent sides on the regulatory body. It is a highly decorative object that is made from laser cut ornamental elements. Also it contains elements blend designed and 3D printed. There is the possibility of lighting the object from the interior that gives it a nice ambiental light.

     The object can be made with different materials, acrylic, wood or metal. For indoor use, it can be made of lightweight materials, and for exterior with solid and resistant materials. Each face of the icosahedron can individually be customized by your choice from a wide range of models offered by Atelier Varadinum or with the customers symbols or logos.
